Ceramic Ornaments for Sari Wrap Bracelets - WOYWW 191

It's a very breezy Wednesday in Texas with Blue Skies all around ...at least in Central Texas!  Hope you are having a great day.  On my work desk today you will find handmade ceramic bracelet ornaments to be used on my sari wrap bracelets.

The first photo is of the greenware pieces drying. The faces were pressed into a ceramic mold I inherited from my MIL and the others are just free-formed out of the same clay. They will be fired in my small kiln to bisque and then glazed.

The above ceramic ornaments have been glazed and are ready to string on recycled sari ribbon.

Isn't this stuff beautiful?  It can also be used to crochet or knit with.  But  I use it to make wrap bracelets. Just add some bead embellishments and some knots and you have a fab bracelet!
Don't look at the arm, I couldn't find a young model in time for this blog post!  Francine was out riding the range with Hunky at the time!
Czech out what Julia and others around the world are creating over HERE!  And go out and make something beautiful!

Monday Blues - Blue Monday

Started the day by quickly sketching my Blue Monday Blue Girl!  Created her on some type of canvas paper given to me by a friend. Don't you just love it when your friends are cleaning out closets and give you a box of art supplies, broken jewelry, and other "junk"!  I sure do.  Hunky Jones and Fritz don't get near as excited as Francine and Frieda and me!

To see more fabulous blue things just click HERE and see what's going on on Sally's blog.
Until next time....go out and see what's left of the full moon tonight!

Handpainted Gift Enclosure Cards - WOYWW

Happy Wednesday Y'all!  Hope you are off to a great start!  On my work desk today are more gift enclosure cards.  I've been packaging them in bundles of 8 or 10 and tucking them inside my handmade greeting cards!

The brown rose on the top right of the photo was painted with instant coffee!  You will also see a red Adams extract bottle lid.  This is a remnant from my Christmas ornament making session using empty vanilla extract bottles!  Of course, I haven't made those pictures available as of yet,,,too distracted I guess!  Sorry,,,maybe another time!

I will leave you with a sunrise pic from the art retreat on the Texas coast this past October...wish I was there today!
In the meantime,,,,go out and enjoy the sunrise where you live!  And go see what's going on around the world on other work desks by clicking HERE !

Handmade Gift Enclosure Cards!

Well, Hello again my friends!  I am experimenting with another method of uploading photos on Blogger!  So, please bear with me!.  Above you will see a picture of some of my handmade gift enclosure cards.  These are made with bits and pieces of cool stuff found on my fabulously inspiring work desk!  Don't you just love the bits of thread? They add such a pop of color!  Hunky Jones likes the one in the middle because it's red like his hair!!!
O.K., now go out and enjoy the sunset!  It's gonna be glorious here in Central Texas!

Happy New Year Friends!

Happy New Year My Dear Friends!  Well, since I am technically challenged and can't figure out how to outsmart blogger, I will just have to share this post without pictures!  My how things change when you've been away almost 2 months!  But I continue to create and make things and will share pictures as soon as I can outsmart this program!!  In the meantime, Hunky and Francine are still up to their old tricks and manage to include Fritz and Frieda as much as possible.  Until next time......enjoy the sunset!
