These are several ceramic bisque doll faces I made using ceramic molds. Can't wait to incorporate them into one of my collages. Look for them in future works!

This vintage Valentine was given to me by my dad's cousin. She is in her 80's and never had children. Someone sent it to her husband when he was a little boy. Isn't it great?

I think my favorite is the little round charm with the shing-a-ling dangling from the bottom. It still needs some work...maybe some handpainted roses!

Charms in Progress

My friend suggested I join her in a charm swap! Sounds like a good idea to me! These are five of my charms in progress! They still need some finishing touches. Most of them have some Czech writing torn from an old Czech Farm and Ranch Journal from the turn of the century. I really like including the Czech writing in each piece of my mixed media collage. Czech them out!

Rusted Treasures

Please be patient while I get familiar with this new idea of blogging. I am still trying to get the hang of things.

Lots of photos make a blog really interesting and that is my challenge for myself.....to post several photos of places I visit and things I create.

Here you see my great stash of "found objects" rusting away on my rusting barrel. Most of these treasures will turn up in my mixed media art!
