Thrifting Treasures
I just love to go thrifting. These wonderful treasures were just waiting for me to snag them yesterday! And among my "finds" was this fabulous antique book titled "The Great Galveston Disaster" which was published in 1900....the year of the devastating hurricane. Our family spent many a summer vacation on Bolivar Penisula just a ferry ride across the bay from Galveston. After hurricane Ike in 2008 nothing remains on Bolivar........so very sad.

Look Who's Driving
Look who was driving the pickup when I stopped to get gas the other day. Just as I started to snap the pic she decided to move over to the passenger side of the truck. The little grandpa pumping gas next to me said her name is Baby.
